St Joseph’s School Tranmere is a Catholic parish school situated in the Parish of Tranmere serving the local community since 1927.

The school was established by the Sisters of St Joseph and continues to value the heritage and values of the Sisters through the vision of education fostered by St Mary of the Cross MacKillop.

Our mission is to work in partnership with parents, students, educators and the extended community to provide a living community where faith is nurtured, excellence is encouraged and all are welcomed, respected and valued. The foundations for our school are FAITH, LEARNING, COMMUNITY and OPPORTUNITY. At the centre of our school are our school values: celebrating our Christian culture, love, service, learning, inclusiveness & tolerance, respect and justice.

The school environment has been designed as a learning village offering diverse play areas, engaging learning facilities and resources for play and learning and to support community life. Learning facilities include a contemporary Resource Centre, ICT/Music LAB, an oval, hard play areas, a playground, learning spaces, specialist learning spaces, a community kitchen and Hall.

To find out more about what St Joseph’s school has to offer we encourage you view our School Prospectus or join us at one of our regular Open Mornings for a tour of the school.

We look forward to sharing our school with you.
